On January 19, a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Southern Federal University was held in ITA SFedU. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev.
At the beginning of the meeting Marina Borovskaya, rector of SFedU made a thank-word speech to all members of the Board of Trustees of Southern Federal University. Trustees make a significant contribution to the development and modernization of SFedU. Marina Borovskaya spoke about the university's success in organizing the scientific and educational processes, employing graduates and stimulating student start-up initiatives, as well as technological breakthroughs of SFedU researchers.
The Vice-rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation Inna Shevchenko noted that SFedU successfully works in such new directions as the creation of artificial intelligence, neurotechnologies, quantum technologies and research on mega-science facilities.
In addition to the meeting of the Board of Trustees, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich also took part in a meeting with SfedU students. He answered questions from students who were interested in the introduction of innovations in scientific fields, the development of the labor market, the prospects of crypto-currency, and the financial support of research projects.
